Having read the previous two books, I wanted to continue the story and see what happens to Alyssa. She is in Middle school and her powers are still there and still growing. However, as she is entering puberty and her emotions start to grow out of control, so do her powers.
I liked this book, and I thought the author did a really good job in portraying this confusing time in age for Alyssa and it will resonate with many young readers. I certainly will continue to recommend this series to my nieces who love fantasy books.
