Prophecy and Providence: Avenging the Innocent (The Prophecy Series Book 1)Prophecy and Providence: Avenging the Innocent by Mark Mills
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A tough book to read as a parent of small children. There were plenty of moments where I was crying for these young children as they suffered at the hands of those who should have protected them. Dan Forester is angry at the dirty secret America has about pedophilia. He wants it eradicated once and for all from American soil and he will go to any lengths to ensure those abusing kids will get what they deserve, even murder. On the run from the FBI who want to stop his murder spree, Dan has now turned full vigilante after his son is brutally raped. Will the FBI be able to catch him? How long will he continue his fight and how many kids can Dan save?
This was a tough book, especially because it forces us to face this moral quandary: Pedophilia is horrific and those perpetrating it should face punishment, but in a broken system, should we punish the person who is doing something about it and protecting the kids? Or is Dan just as bad as the abusers?
