Third in the Series, The Ashes follows young warrior Neil Vapros as he fulfills his duty to fight for what’s right. Currently imprisoned by the evil empire, Neil plots and plans his way to a daring escape. When he successfully pulls it off against all odds, some of his actions during the breakout will cause him to question his heritage and come back later to haunt him. His newly awakened powers prove hard to control, and Neil learns to wield them while on the run, a deadly combination. Where the first two books started slow, this one takes off pretty quickly and takes you on a fast-paced journey across the land with a warrior who seems to be doomed from the start. Will he be noble and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice?
Great character development and growth along with amazing worldbuilding make this a series (and conclusion) that you will not want to miss!
