Tap Sapiens (Reign of Sapiens' Evil (R.O.S.E.) #1)Tap Sapiens (Reign of Sapiens' Evil by Robin T.T. Poon
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In a Dystopian future, a military force known as the ASC is the ultimate power. Brandi Kelly, a young revolutionary decides to go undercover and infiltrate the ASC in order to expose its corruption and horrors she believes they are hiding. When she enters the recruit training, she is captivated by the man in charge, the general himself Daniel O’Reilly and his beautiful turquoise eyes. As Brandi goes through training, she gathers around her a group of discontents who have suffered under the ASC rule and wish to do something about it. Her relationship with the general also has its ups and downs.
The book was well written, although there were some things I had a hard time believing. Coming from a military background I know that no officer, much less a General, would involve themselves with a mere recruit. Also, Brandi’s revolution came together a little to easily. She made a few enemies, but whenever she needed help it magically appeared, she barely had hardships and since this is in the dystopian future, I found it a hard sell.
