This is the fourth in the Courage to Rise series but as the other books, can be read as a stand-alone. Allison is living a pampered life full of luxury that comes crashing down with embezzlement charges that are levied against her husband. Allison is thrust into a much more rural lifestyle where she meets a handsome stranger and must decide where she wants to take her life.
Allison wasn’t the most likeable character in the beginning, but she has a good redemption arc in this book and I like how she had to come to terms with her changed circumstances.
