Lover Girl by Stephen Kronwith

Sammy from the first book opens his door and faces an assassin hired by her father to finish Sammy off once and for all. The two join forces though and set out to save a child all the while staving off another assassin bent on killing the both of them.
This book was better than the first one, a bit more serious and focused than the last. Thus, I enjoyed it more and am glad I picked it up. The writing and the plot are good, and Sammy is a more likeable character now that he is focused on one woman and Angelica is certainly a match for Sammy’s personality.
