American Conspiracy by M.J. Polelle
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The president-elect is dead, and the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of detective Murphy. Murphy is determined to restore his good name and sets off into the investigation of murders and disappearances. This investigation leads him to stumble upon a plot against the new president elect and Murphy sees his moment to save them all and shine. This story was fast paced and Murphy was a really likeable character. His name sort of foreshadows how everything keeps happening to him and I felt really bad. I loved his doggedness and his courage to stay the course. Overall a great thriller to read and
