What do you do, when you find evidence that a convicted killer wasn’t actually the killer? With one still on the loose, FBI agent Eva Thomas isn’t believed when she informs her superiors, and she struggles to find support when she sets out to go after the true killer of mom Arlene Wood.
I loved that Eva was so dogged in the face of adversity and that she was able to show her balance of work and private life. Not many books out there have heroines who are mothers, so this was a welcome change, and the author made a good choice of characters.
