The Andean Cross: A Novel by Lawrence Clayton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A tale for the ages, this book plays on the idea of what if. What if the Americas weren’t discovered by the Spanish (or Vikings, or other culture), but rather by Jesus and his Apostles, shipwrecks, months at sea, traversing rough country sides all the while, exploring the ideas and teachings of Christianity which make this book feel richer and more fulfilling than most.
This was an interesting book and it was intriguing, while I do not subscribe to the authors beliefs, I viewed this as an entertaining piece of fiction and enjoyed the story.
